Step into Hulya’s home in Kaş for a relaxed cooking experience with a sea view. You’ll begin the way many visits do here, with a cup of coffee and a chance to get to know each other before you start cooking.
Then you’ll cook side by side in Hulya’s kitchen, learning how a Turkish home table comes together. You’ll prepare classic karnıyarık (stuffed eggplant), Turkish style rice, a fresh tomato salad, and two traditional starters known as meze. If someone in the group is vegetarian, Hulya can make a version of karnıyarık with onion and tomatoes.
When everything is ready, you’ll sit down and share the meal you made together, with time for questions, conversation, and the simple comfort of being welcomed into a local home.
What makes it unique?
This experience happens in Burcu’s real home kitchen in Fethiye, in a small group that stays personal and conversational. Burcu has lived in the area for 15 years, studied both tourism and gastronomy, and has taught gastronomy at educational centers, so she explains techniques clearly while keeping the mood warm and natural. The menu goes beyond a single recipe, pairing handmade manti with meze, saç böreği, and local wild herb dishes that reflect everyday Aegean cooking, followed by a shared table moment that feels like being welcomed into local life.
