Step into a true Istanbul cultural experience, where tradition meets modern-day connections! Inspired by the classic Kahvehane (traditional Turkish cafés), I’m bringing this social tradition into my home—but with a twist.
At a typical Kahvehane, locals gather to sip tea, play games, and discuss everything from daily life to deep conversations. In this home-hosted version, we’ll taste authentic Turkish teas like black tea, apple tea, and mint-lemon tea, all while experiencing Turkish hospitality firsthand.
But here’s what makes this special—it’s more than just a tea tasting. I’ll invite local professionals, creatives, and influencers based on your interests, creating the perfect setting for meaningful conversations. Whether you’re passionate about entrepreneurship, music, technology, or the arts, you’ll get to meet like-minded locals from Istanbul’s vibrant community.
And to make things even more exciting, our gathering will take place in a talk-show setting, recorded for my YouTube channel! Don’t worry—this isn’t a formal interview; it’s all about authentic discussions, interactive games, and real connections.
So, if you’re looking for cool things to do in Istanbul, want to taste Turkish tea, and would love to network with fascinating locals, this experience is for you. Come as a guest, leave as a friend—maybe even with new connections in Istanbul!

What makes it unique?

Tea in Turkey is closely connected to conversation and hospitality. This gathering uses the tradition of tea sharing as a way for travelers and locals to meet, talk, and exchange ideas. The informal atmosphere encourages genuine interaction, making it feel more like a social meetup inside a local space than a structured networking event.

It was a great experience. I do not want to make spoilers but prepare for a thorough cultural exchange. The guys are great company, you won't mind being there even for a second.

The programme contained tea tasting, cultural insight and a free conversation about anything you could think of.

The place is very accessable even with public transport and the flat's interior itself is excellent. I give a score of 11/10 for the spectacular view from the balcony.

It was nice to meet locals and having a 2 hour chat with them. My favourite part was when they showed us their instruments .
